Plant Operations Manager – Consumer Durables & Injection Moulding

About the role

The company is expanding its manufacturing and refurbishment footprint in Bangalore through a strategic OEM partner. We are seeking a hands‑on Plant Operations Manager / OEM Operations Lead to act as the company’s dedicated representative at the OEM facility and own the end‑to‑end operational ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all OEM manufacturing activities for the company, including assembly, refurbishment and injection moulding of plastic cabinets.
• Coordinate procurement and supplier management to ensure timely material flow.
• Drive quality and process control across the plant, adhering to company SOPs.
• Manage cost, efficiency and delivery performance to meet agreed targets.
• Oversee SOP compliance, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Plastics, Polymer, Tool & Die, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, plant or factory operations, preferably with plastic components or injection moulding.
• Experience managing operations at a vendor, contract manufacturing or OEM facility is an advantage.
• Strong hands‑on approach with ability to work closely with shop‑floor and vendor teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
