Plant Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Plant Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities at Lotus Dairy's manufacturing facility. This senior position ensures compliance with labour laws, drives workforce planning, and fosters a safe and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee plant‑level HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management and employee life‑cycle processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance requirements and labour legislation.
• Participate in HR audits and maintain statutory records under various labour laws.
• Plan workforce needs and guarantee sufficient manpower for business requirements.
• Manage contractual labour, negotiate with labour contractors and handle industrial relations.
• Liaise effectively with government, semi‑government and local authorities.
• Administer salary, payroll, security, licensing, certification, housekeeping, EHS and vendor management.
• Lead disciplinary actions and conduct investigations into misconduct.
• Develop and drive employee health, wellbeing and grievance management programmes.
• Maintain open communication channels with workers and staff for real‑time issue resolution.

Required profile

• MBA (HR), MSW or PGD‑IR with 12+ years of overall experience.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing unit employing 500+ staff.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Indian labour laws and collective bargaining.
• Proven ability to handle IR, disciplinary matters and contract labour at plant level.

• Experience in payroll administration and HR generalist functions.
• Strong capability to negotiate and manage agreements with labour contractors.
