Plant Finance Controller

About the role

The Plant Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial performance of a manufacturing site. You will ensure that operating costs are monitored, controlled, and aligned with budgetary targets while providing actionable insights to improve cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant operating costs against budgets.
• Develop and track operational norms to improve cost efficiency.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual).
• Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
• Provide insights on drivers of cost and performance deviations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing.
• Support transfer pricing and profitability analysis.
• Perform inventory valuation and ensure timely plant‑level financial accounting and reporting.
• Support statutory and internal audit requirements.
• Provide timely information and support to corporate finance and controlling teams.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in plant finance, cost controlling, product costing, and overhead absorption.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
