Planning Engineer – Ports & Marine

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Planning Engineer – Ports & Marine to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marine infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing and reviewing feasibility studies, techno‑economic reports, detailed project reports, master plans, project schedules, and providing bid support for ports, harbors, terminals, waterfront developments and marine structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Techno‑Economic Feasibility Reports (TEFRs), Feasibility Studies and Pre‑Feasibility Reports for ports and marine projects.
• Develop project implementation plans, schedules, milestones and resource‑loaded programs using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including marine, coastal, structural, geotechnical, environmental and transportation experts.
• Support preparation of port master plans, cargo traffic assessments, capacity analysis and infrastructure planning studies.
• Monitor project timelines, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree or specialization in Port & Harbour, Coastal, Marine Engineering, Transportation, Infrastructure Planning or Construction Management preferred.
• 3–8 years of experience in planning and consultancy for ports, marine, coastal, harbors, terminals, jetties, shipyards or related maritime infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with project monitoring tools.
