Physician – Full-time Clinical Role

About the role

Kasturba Hospital in Valsad is seeking a full-time, on-site Physician to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, ranging from diagnosis and treatment to preventive health services for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and support staff to ensure coordinated patient management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in emergency decision-making and respond promptly to urgent clinical situations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of hospital services through high-quality clinical practice.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with valid licensure to practice in India.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical abilities to manage a wide range of health conditions.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills for effective patient interaction.
• Experience in preventive care, chronic disease management and emergency response is highly preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team while upholding high ethical standards.
• Organizational skills for detailed documentation and record-keeping.
