PHP & Python Developer

About the role

Bitsphere is looking for a full‑time PHP & Python Developer to join its Ranchi office. You will work on back‑end systems and web applications, ensuring clean, secure, and scalable code that supports the company’s graphics, web, and digital‑marketing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back‑end components using PHP and Python.
• Implement and document RESTful APIs and integrate them with front‑end modules.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, handling schema design, queries, and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and optimise application performance.
• Collaborate closely with designers, digital‑marketing teams, and other developers on‑site.
• Maintain version control using Git and follow software development lifecycle best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong foundation in programming concepts and back‑end web development.
• Ability to work on‑site and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Interest in learning new technologies and contributing to a fast‑growing IT services environment.
