PHP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. The role involves building and maintaining web applications, integrating APIs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP.
• Build and maintain backend modules and server‑side services.
• Design and integrate RESTful and third‑party APIs.
• Work with MySQL databases and write optimized SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code and perform testing.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.
• Maintain technical documentation for modules and APIs.

Required profile

• 1–3 years (or up to 5 years) of professional experience in PHP development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
• Full‑time availability.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP.
• Experience with MySQL and writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Proficiency with Git version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• Basic knowledge of Linux/server environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) is a plus.
• Experience with payment gateway and third‑party service integrations is advantageous.
