PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to design, build and maintain robust backend services and APIs. The role involves close collaboration with front‑end developers, product managers and QA to deliver high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using PHP and modern frameworks.
• Design, optimise and manage relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure high performance.
• Integrate front‑end components and third‑party APIs or external services into the application.
• Write clean, well‑documented, testable code following PSR standards, MVC patterns and web‑security best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design features, troubleshoot bugs and resolve production issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in core PHP development.
• At least 2 + years of hands‑on experience with a modern PHP framework (Laravel or CakePHP preferred).
• Strong proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases, version control (Git) and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, MVC design patterns and web security fundamentals.
