PHP Developer

About the role

Black Trader is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join its backend engineering team in Coimbatore. You will build, maintain, and optimise server‑side components of high‑frequency trading platforms, working closely with front‑end developers to ensure seamless integration.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable PHP code (PHP 8.x) for core trading systems.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap to integrate UI elements.
• Design scalable database schemas and develop RESTful APIs.
• Integrate third‑party services, payment gateways and trading APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance for low‑latency responses.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and documentation while using Git for version control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proactive learning attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced fintech environment.
