Pharmacy Technician I – Outpatient (Full‑Time, Days)

About the role

Join the Memorial Healthcare System outpatient pharmacy team in Miramar, Florida as a Pharmacy Technician I. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist and pharmacy manager, you will support dispensing, inventory, and patient‑care activities in a fast‑paced, full‑time day shift environment.

Key responsibilities

• Compound non‑sterile medications under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Answer phones, process prescriptions, coordinate deliveries, and support customer service programs.
• Receive, stock, and manage pharmacy inventory, including processing out‑dates and using automation systems.
• Prepare, label, document, pack, and deliver prescriptions, including point‑of‑sale transactions.
• Accurately fill prescriptions, review patient medical information, and enter data into the pharmacy system.
• Resolve insurance claims and rejections.
• Perform all activities within the pharmacy technician scope of practice.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license in the State of Florida.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and decisive judgment.
