Pharmacy Officer – Manufacturing Compliance

About the role
Lupin is seeking a Pharmacy Officer to ensure strict compliance with batch records, SOPs and cGMP standards on the shop floor. You will work closely with production teams to safeguard product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities
- Follow batch record instructions for various products and verify compliance.
- Implement SOPs and cGMP requirements on the shop floor, including line clearance to prevent mix‑ups and contamination.
- Conduct in‑process checks and sampling at defined manufacturing stages.
- Review batch records stage‑wise to enable timely product release.
- Prepare, execute and compile process validation (PPQ) and cleaning validation/verification studies.
- Review master batch manufacturing records and packing records in SAP.
- Participate actively in investigations of product or system failures.
- Provide continuous cGMP awareness and SOP training to technicians.
Required profile
- Graduation in Pharmacy.
- 2‑4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or quality compliance.
Required skills
- SAP (batch record management).
- cGMP knowledge.
- Process validation techniques.
- Cleaning validation and verification.
