Pharmacy Incharge

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Hajo, near Guwahati, within the pharmacy of Hosp. Hospitalar. The Pharmacy Incharge will lead daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing, prescription verification, and optimal stock levels while providing high‑quality patient support.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate workflow to meet service standards.
• Dispense medications accurately and verify all prescriptions for compliance with regulations.
• Maintain inventory, manage procurement, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Document all pharmacy activities, including dispensing records and inventory logs.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to support clinical services, including immunization programs.
• Provide medication counseling and guidance to patients.

Required profile

• Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacy registration/license as required by Indian regulations.
• Proven experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy, preferably in a supervisory or in‑charge role.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Hajo and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
