Pharmacovigilance Services Associate

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to join its Life Sciences R&D vertical. The role supports leading biopharma clients by ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products through systematic monitoring, assessment, and reporting of adverse events.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
• Process cases, submit reports, and conduct follow‑ups in the safety database according to client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Solve routine pharmacovigilance problems using established guidelines and precedents.
• Collaborate with team members and report to a direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines.
• Effective communication within a team environment.
