Pharmacist (Retail Pharmacy)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy outlet in Jaipur. You will work in a customer‑facing environment, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medicines while supporting the company’s mission to provide affordable generic drugs.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy.
• Counsel customers on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient, billing, and inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels, manage expiries, and order supplies to prevent shortages.
• Ensure proper storage conditions, cleanliness, and safety within the pharmacy.
• Provide information on generic alternatives and support ethical dispensing practices.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver courteous and efficient service.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacy degree (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the relevant pharmacy council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage forms.
• Ability to interpret and verify prescriptions accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Prior experience in a community or retail pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing software or POS systems.
