Pharmacist – Preet Vihar, New Delhi

About the role

The Pharmacy department is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintain high quality standards, and manage inventory in the Preet Vihar location of New Delhi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate dispensing of medications with clear labeling and patient instructions.
• Maintain optimal storage conditions to minimise drug expiry.
• Control drug purchase costs through negotiations and contracts.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock‑taking, and perform regular drug audits.
• Enter medication orders into the pharmacy dispensing software and maintain nurse unit stock lists.
• Act as liaison between nursing, medical staff, and the pharmacy for prescriptions, drug information, and incident handling.
• Ensure secure storage of narcotics and other controlled substances.
• Uphold departmental policies, quality‑assurance programs, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Assist doctors with formulary information and address patient concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Availability to work according to scheduled duty hours.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients in a language they understand.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software.
