Pharmacist (On-site, Closing Shift) – Davangere

About the role

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist to join our on-site pharmacy in Davangere. The role involves dispensing medications, counseling patients and managing the pharmacy during the closing shift up to 11 PM. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medicines and verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects and storage.
• Maintain and update patient medication records and controlled-drug registers in compliance with regulations.
• Manage inventory of medicines, consumables and pharmacy supplies, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians/support staff, enforce SOPs, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Handle the closing shift (up to 11 PM) and ensure the pharmacy remains well-stocked and compliant.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a pharmacist or pharmacy assistant in a retail or hospital setting.
• Resident of Davangere and able to work the closing shift up to 11 PM.
• Strong knowledge of drug compositions, dosages, interactions and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient-counselling skills.
