Pharmacist (Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathic) Recruitment – District Health Committee, Latehar

About the role

The District Health Committee of Latehar is hiring qualified pharmacists for Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathic compounds under the NHM RCH programme. Selected candidates will work in the Sadar Hospital Complex, providing essential pharmacy services to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense Ayurvedic, Unani or Homeopathic medicines as per prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory and storage conditions for all pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Assist patients with medication counseling and answer queries related to traditional medicines.
• Support health outreach programmes and record keeping.

Required profile

• Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Unani Pharmacy or Homeopathic Pharmacy from a recognized institute.
• Valid work‑experience certificate issued by a government or recognized medical institute.
• Willingness to submit the prescribed application fee and required documents.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmacy practices.
• Knowledge of Unani pharmacy practices.
• Knowledge of Homeopathic pharmacy practices.
