Pharma Project Manager – Portfolio & PMO Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the PMO function for a portfolio of pharmaceutical products across multiple therapeutic areas. The role will ensure coordinated execution across development, API and formulation manufacturing, supply chain and regulatory functions, providing visibility and control for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor multiple product pipelines from development through scale‑up to commercial launch, maintaining integrated dashboards of key milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including R&D, manufacturing sites, supply chain, regulatory and commercial units to align execution with portfolio commitments.
• Prepare category‑level MIS reports, portfolio health dashboards and executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Drive governance forums, manage action items, and escalate bottlenecks to ensure timely decision‑making.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and issues across API sourcing, formulation scale‑up and manufacturing capacity.
• Support launch readiness by monitoring manufacturing readiness, packaging material availability and supply planning.
• Liaise with external partners such as CDMOs and testing labs to ensure adherence to PMO processes and documentation standards.

Required profile

• MBA or PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management from a Tier‑1 institute.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management or PMO roles within pharmaceutical companies.
• Hands‑on exposure to both API and formulation manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple products and perform portfolio‑level tracking.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, regulatory milestones and commercial launch processes.
