PGT Math Teacher – Senior Secondary (CBSE)

About the role

CS Academy is seeking a qualified PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) to deliver high‑quality Mathematics instruction to senior secondary students (Classes XI‑XII) following the CBSE curriculum. The role involves fostering conceptual understanding, problem‑solving abilities and exam readiness while maintaining an engaging classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with CBSE standards for Classes XI and XII.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments and examinations, providing timely feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and implement remedial strategies to support individual student needs.
• Collaborate with department heads and fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and enrichment activities.
• Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and continuous professional development programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (B.Ed or equivalent) with a postgraduate degree in Mathematics.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience teaching senior secondary Mathematics in a CBSE school.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate adolescents.
• Commitment to the school’s values of academic excellence, holistic development and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the CBSE Mathematics syllabus for Classes XI‑XII.
• Proficiency in designing lesson plans, assessments and remedial programmes.
