Performance Controller – Finance & Performance Management Analyst

About the role

As a Performance Controller / Finance & Performance Management Analyst you will own segment reporting and drive performance transparency for a Siemens Mobility segment. Based in India, you will collaborate with German and regional stakeholders, support forecasting, budgeting and provide financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner for the assigned segment, guiding strategic and operational decisions.
• Drive monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with regional and HQ teams.
• Own segment reporting, variance analysis, KPI monitoring and deliver clear recommendations.
• Partner with country and regional controllers during month‑end closing and data validation.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses and prepare decision‑ready presentations for segment leadership.
• Lead digitalisation and process improvement using AI‑enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, Power Automate, KNIME and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s or certification a plus).
• 7–10 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate with international, especially German, stakeholders.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
