Performance Controller / Finance & Performance Management Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Performance Controller / Finance & Performance Management Analyst to own segment reporting and drive performance transparency for a Siemens Mobility segment. Based in India, you will collaborate with German and regional stakeholders, support forecasting and budgeting, and provide financial insights directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner for the assigned segment, guiding strategic and operational decisions.
• Drive and coordinate monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with regional and HQ collaborators.
• Own and deliver segment reporting, financial analysis, variance analysis, KPIs and clear recommendations.
• Partner with country and regional controllers during monthly closing, data validation and template maintenance.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses and prepare decision‑ready presentations for segment leadership.
• Lead digitalisation and operational improvement using AI‑enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, Power Automate, KNIME and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s or certification a plus).
• 7–10 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with digital, automation and AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, Power Automate, KNIME).
• Solid understanding of financial data structures, KPI logic and reporting dependencies.
• Exposure to SAP/ERP or BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate with international stakeholders, especially in a German business context.
• Ability to work independently in a cross‑functional, global environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
