Penetration Testing Analyst

About the role

Join ANZ’s Cyber Security Risk Division as a Penetration Testing Analyst. You will help keep the bank safe by identifying and validating security threats across our systems, services, and applications while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute penetration tests across enterprise environments.
• Ensure timely delivery and effectiveness of testing engagements.
• Collaborate with technology teams to schedule, track and report test activities.
• Communicate progress and findings to stakeholders with clear updates.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in testing methodologies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in penetration testing or a related security role.
• Proven ability to plan, track and report security activities.
• Experience working with enterprise collaboration, workspace, tracking and CMDB tools.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Commitment to continuous learning and bringing new ideas to the squad.

Required skills

• Penetration testing methodologies and frameworks (OWASP, CWE, PTES).
• Understanding of information security threats, vulnerabilities, risks and exploits.
• Familiarity with modern development ecosystems, source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Artifact management and configuration management database (CMDB) tools.
