About the role

Fernandez Hospital in Hyderabad is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Nurse to join its dedicated children’s care team. The role involves delivering compassionate, age‑appropriate nursing care to infants, children and adolescents in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures for pediatric patients.
• Coordinate care with pediatricians, specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate families on treatment plans, preventive care and post‑discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection‑control and hospital protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and support critical‑care needs.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives within the pediatric department.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with valid registration.
• Relevant clinical experience in pediatric nursing, including critical‑care settings.
• Solid knowledge of pediatric medicine and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support children and families.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
