Patent Docketing Specialist – US & International

About the role

Join Anaqua’s fast‑growing IP management team in Gurugram as a Patent Docketing Specialist. You will handle end‑to‑end docketing for US and non‑US patent matters, ensuring deadlines are met and data is accurately maintained in the company’s IP management system.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, track and de‑ docket all patent deadlines for US and international jurisdictions in the IPMS.
• Upload, link and verify supporting documents for each matter.
• Maintain correct bibliographic information and generate timely reminders for paralegals and attorneys.
• Perform quality audits on client‑provided documents according to SOPs.
• Conduct internal quality audits for US and non‑US patent portfolios.
• Review prosecution documents received via shared mailbox and process them per client instructions.
• Escalate docketing queries to managers or clients when needed.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in patent docketing or related IP administration.
• Familiarity with filing and prosecution practices in USPTO, PCT, EP, JP, CN and other major jurisdictions.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Anaqua or Pattsy Wave platforms.
• Proficiency in using IPMS (Intellectual Property Management System) for docketing.
• Knowledge of US and international patent prosecution processes.
