About the role

The Part‑time Facilitator – English as an Additional Language (EAL) – IGCSE will deliver high‑quality online classes to learners following the IGCSE curriculum. The role focuses on lesson planning, student assessment, and continuous interaction with parents and internal teams to ensure a holistic learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled online classes, maintaining high teaching standards and student engagement.
• Manage virtual classrooms, including handling substitutions as required.
• Research, design, and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
• Create and curate teaching materials such as presentations and learning resources.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs and support inclusive participation.
• Plan and execute formal and informal assessments, record performance, and provide feedback.
• Respond promptly to parent queries, prepare for parent meetings, and maintain professional communication.
• Collaborate with fellow facilitators, academic teams, and the counselling department to ensure curriculum consistency and address special learning needs.
• Participate in school events, co‑curricular programs, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all school policies, including child safety and cyber‑security guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the IGCSE English as an Additional Language curriculum.
• Experience delivering engaging online lessons.
• Ability to create an interactive, supportive, and inclusive virtual learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
