Part-Time Faculty – Interior Design

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time faculty member to teach Interior Design at our Vashi campus in Navi Mumbai. The role involves delivering lectures, leading practical workshops and mentoring students on design concepts and industry practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging classroom sessions covering interior design theory, space planning and visualization.
• Conduct hands‑on workshops using industry‑standard software.
• Develop course materials, assignments and assessment criteria.
• Evaluate student projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with design trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
• Professional experience in interior design or related academic teaching.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Passion for mentoring and nurturing creative talent.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in 3ds Max or similar visualization tools.
