About the role

Join Meijer as a Part‑time Evening Cashier and deliver friendly, efficient service to shoppers during evening shifts. You will be the final point of contact, ensuring a smooth checkout experience and reinforcing Meijer’s commitment to community and quality.

Key responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
Handle cash, credit, and other payment forms responsibly.
Provide courteous, helpful assistance and answer customer inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout lane.
Create positive “WOW” moments that encourage repeat visits.

Required profile

At least 18 years of age.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Detail‑oriented and organized.
Friendly, outgoing attitude with a customer‑focused mindset.
Willingness to learn or familiarity with job‑specific technology.

Required skills
