Outreach Officer

About the role

The Outreach Officer will work full‑time on the KK Modi University campus in Durg, leading community outreach programmes that raise the university’s profile among schools, colleges, industry partners and local organisations. The role focuses on building relationships, delivering events and supporting prospective learners through clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage outreach events, workshops, information sessions and campus visits.
• Coordinate outreach activities with internal departments and external partners.
• Research and identify new outreach opportunities and analyse community needs.
• Collect participant feedback, prepare reports and maintain accurate records of all activities.
• Represent the university at external forums, fairs and community gatherings.
• Support the development of strategies to increase awareness of university programmes.

Required profile

• Strong community engagement and outreach experience, preferably in higher education, social impact or public relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with learners, families and partner institutions.
• Proven event‑management abilities and solid organisational and time‑management skills.
• Research capability to identify opportunities and evaluate impact.
• Comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and collaborating with teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, social sciences, management or related field; relevant outreach experience is a plus.
