OT Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an OT Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team in Bangalore. The role focuses on protecting operational technology environments across our food and beverage manufacturing sites by designing, implementing, and managing security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans for OT systems and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead OT cybersecurity reviews, including network topology and data‑flow mapping.
• Support creation and maintenance of security policies aligned with secure‑by‑design principles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and validate secure OT systems, ensuring compatibility with legacy infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and configure network segmentation to protect critical assets.
• Lead incident detection, response, root‑cause analysis, and continuously improve response plans.
• Develop and deliver OT‑specific security training in partnership with GRC teams.
• Engage with plant managers, IT teams, service providers, and vendors to align security with business needs.
• Track and report on security control effectiveness and system resilience.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in OT/ICS environments.
• Experience in industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or critical infrastructure is a plus.
