Operations Executive – eCommerce (Surface Hub)

About the role

The Operations Executive (or Senior Operations Executive) for eCommerce is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of the eCommerce product within an assigned Surface Hub. The role ensures that shipments move smoothly across the surface network, maintaining visibility, service quality and adherence to committed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound, outbound and transit operations for the eCommerce product at the Surface Hub.
• Monitor shipment visibility and network connectivity to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Linehaul Operations, Network Operations, Service Centres, Last Mile Operations and Customer Service to optimise hub processing.
• Resolve operational exceptions and ensure compliance with service standards.
• Prepare and dispatch shipments according to schedule, supporting a travel requirement of 25‑50%.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or eCommerce operations within a hub environment.
• Ability to work closely with multiple internal teams and external partners.
• Strong focus on service quality, timelines and problem resolution.
