Operations Executive – eCommerce (Surface Hub)

About the role

The Operations Executive / Senior Operations Executive – eCommerce is responsible for managing day‑to‑day execution of the eCommerce product within an assigned surface hub. Reporting to the Hub Manager, the role ensures seamless movement of shipments across the surface network, maintaining visibility, service quality and adherence to timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound, outbound and transit operations for eCommerce shipments, ensuring timely receipt, segregation, processing, consolidation and dispatch.
• Coordinate movement of shipments through scheduled line‑haul and feeder networks, monitoring cut‑off times and dispatch schedules.
• Monitor scanning, sorting, bagging and dispatch activities to guarantee operational accuracy.
• Identify and resolve shipment exceptions such as delays, misroutes, scanning discrepancies and stock lying at hub (SLAH).
• Maintain accurate shipment visibility through timely system updates and scanning.
• Collaborate with Linehaul Operations, Network Operations, Service Centres, Last Mile Operations and Customer Service teams to optimise hub processing and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Experience in managing hub operations for eCommerce or logistics services.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced surface‑hub environment and meet strict network timelines.
• Strong coordination skills to work with multiple internal teams and external partners.
• Attention to detail for accurate scanning, sorting and documentation.
