Operations Controller – Site Finance & Operations

About the role

The Operations Controller will lead site‑wide controlling activities across all functions, ensuring financial integration and compliance within Givaudan's reporting landscape. You will act as the primary finance partner for the site, supporting both operational and financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Control and monitor financial performance for all site functions.
• Provide timely information to the Operations controlling and local Finance network.
• Serve as the go‑to person for full finance integration into site operations.
• Support and drive process‑improvement initiatives at the site level.
• Challenge business decisions and propose mitigation actions.
• Assist the Regional Operations Controller (F&B) and local Finance Manager with ad‑hoc analyses and tasks.
• Lead the investment process, validate business cases, and monitor execution against budget.
• Manage the annual operations budget and standard product costing in line with global guidance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a professional accountancy qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in cost accounting or operations controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English; additional language is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
