Operations Controller – Outbound Logistics

About the role

The Operations Controller – Outbound Logistics ensures smooth flow of finished goods from the plant to customers. You will manage packing, billing, dispatch and freight reconciliation while coordinating with third‑party logistics providers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Control outbound logistics processes including packing, billing, dispatch and freight reconciliation for finished goods.
• Allocate work and monitor target achievement of third‑party LSP contract workers.
• Schedule monthly packaging material supply and track consumption.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (PPC, MFO, LOP1) for parts supply, work planning and execution.
• Manage freight coordination with external transporters and certify transport and labor bills.
• Perform cycle counts, annual stock verification and monthly stock reconciliation between ChkP and MnrP.
• Handle administrative tasks such as vehicle checks, seal checks, loading control and contract manpower oversight.
• Act as SAP SD key user, supporting process functional knowledge and daily customer logistics interface.

Required profile

• Engineer or Commerce graduate with a PG Diploma in Management Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a mid‑size automotive or auto‑components company.
• Proven ability to handle customer complaints and apply 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Understanding of inbound logistics and familiarity with SAP MM module.
