About the role
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team at a retail unit. The role involves handling customer transactions, registering merchandise, and receiving payments. You will ensure accurate pricing, maintain a tidy checkout area, and provide friendly service to shoppers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide attentive customer service at the checkout.
- Accurately record merchandise sold using the point‑of‑sale system.
- Collect and process cash, card, and other forms of payment.
- Handle returns and exchanges following store policies.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with basic inventory checks and stock replenishment when needed.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Basic math abilities and reliability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
