Online Tutor – Mathematics & Science (Grades 5‑12)

About the role

One Tutor Learning is seeking a full‑time Online Tutor to deliver one‑to‑one mathematics and/or science sessions for students in Grades 5 to 12. The position is based in Quilon with a hybrid work model, allowing a mix of in‑person and remote teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive online lessons aligned with CBSE, ICSE, and State syllabi.
• Assess student understanding during sessions and adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs.
• Track student progress, provide constructive feedback to learners and guardians, and maintain accurate session records.
• Utilize digital tools such as video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and learning management systems to create engaging learning experiences.
• Collaborate with the One Tutor Learning team to continuously improve teaching quality.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science for Grades 5‑12.
• Familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, and State curricula.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field; formal teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Quilon.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video conferencing platforms.
• Experience using digital whiteboards.
• Knowledge of learning management systems.
