Office Suite Evaluation Specialist – Part‑Time Remote

About the role

Mercor, in partnership with a leading AI lab, is seeking detail‑oriented professionals to evaluate AI‑generated office documents. You will compare pairs of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files and decide which better fulfills the given prompt, helping shape the next generation of business‑focused AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Open and inspect downloaded office artifacts in .xlsx.docx, and .pptx formats.
• Perform side‑by‑side pairwise comparisons of two candidate responses.
• Assess content, layout, formatting, formulas, visual structure, and overall presentation against task requirements.
• Grade outputs using structured rubrics and provide written feedback for model improvement.
• Participate in onboarding office hours and calibration sessions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience creating or reviewing office documents.
• Hands‑on familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to independently open, navigate, and visually inspect downloaded files.
• Sharp eye for formatting detail and strong written communication skills.
