Nursing Staff – General Medicine

About the role

Lotus Hospital is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join its General Medicine department. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct patient care, supporting physicians, and contributing to a compassionate, patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and record observations accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with medical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to respond promptly to patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold ethical standards.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) with valid council registration.
• Strong knowledge of general medicine practices and patient care principles.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy for patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, manage multiple patients, and follow clinical guidelines.
• Basic computer literacy for updating records and using hospital information systems.
