Nursing Officer – Patient Care & Assessment

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nursing Officer to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, conducting assessments, and supporting the overall health and recovery of patients in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and document changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in patient assessment, care planning and health education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation, and initiative.
• Computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate medical records.
