Nursing Officer

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is looking for a dedicated Nursing Officer to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting patients and families throughout the recovery process.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes.
• Provide bedside care and support education for patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Operate and care for medical equipment.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and nursing degree (GNM, BSc or MSc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing, including patient assessment, care planning and health education.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate medical records and advise patients on health maintenance.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operation of medical equipment.
