Nurse Tech / Medication Aide – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Technician or Medication Aide to join Hillcrest Health and Rehab. In this entry‑level position you will support our residents by providing daily care, assisting with medication administration and helping the nursing team maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, hygiene and mobility.
• Support medication distribution and documentation under supervision.
• Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants and nurses to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment in accordance with facility policies.

Required profile

• Strong desire to care for others and work in a long‑term care setting.
• Willingness to obtain medication aide certification after 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
