Nurse – Screening Center

About the role

NURA is seeking a full‑time Nurse to join its on‑site screening centre in Chennai. You will provide direct patient care during health‑screening visits, preparing individuals for imaging and diagnostic tests while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for AI‑enabled imaging and other diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor and record vital signs, perform basic nursing procedures, and assess patient condition.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures and explain screening processes.
• Document clinical findings accurately in electronic medical records.
• Support physicians and technicians throughout the screening workflow.
• Maintain infection‑control standards and a safe clinical environment.
• Coordinate follow‑up appointments and communicate results to patients as needed.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent) with valid registration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, technology‑driven team.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient‑centered care.
• Experience in preventive health, diagnostic centres, or hospital settings is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn AI‑enabled imaging technologies.
