Nurse Assistant – Shift Operations & Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Nurse Assistant will oversee shift operations, coordinate staff across all categories, and ensure routine maintenance of hospital equipment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining smooth daily functions and supporting various departments such as House Keeping, OT, and patient wards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall shift operations and staff coordination.
• Maintain shift engineers logbook, equipment logbooks, and plant logbooks.
• Delegate tasks to technicians and operators, monitoring quality of work.
• Execute work orders from other departments promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare training schedules, duty charts, induction programs, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain inventory of critical spares and coordinate AMC services.
• Prepare daily water, electricity, and diesel consumption reports.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th and 12th; Diploma or BE.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and shift coordination.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to multitask.
• Compassionate with good communication and teamwork skills.
