Nurse Assistant – Patient Care & Support

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join its clinical team. You will provide direct patient care, support nursing staff, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients recovering from illness or injury.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside readiness.
• Operate and care for medical equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
