Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our team at a leading Indian hospital. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care diagnostic tests.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and assist with daily activities.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills and active listening.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with colleagues.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate physical approach to patients.
