About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities. The role involves direct interaction with patients, assisting the nursing team, and ensuring high standards of clinical documentation and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and document results.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient health status.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑building and coordination skills.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate approach to patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
