Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves direct bedside assistance, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality health services.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• First division in 10th and 12th examinations.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
