Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join Apollo Hospitals. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Record patients’ medical history and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
- Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
- Provide bedside care, support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and operate medical equipment.
- Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.
Required profile
- Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
- First division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualifications.
- 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other staff.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
