About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities in India. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians in delivering high‑quality clinical services while maintaining accurate medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills, listening, and team‑building abilities.
• Effective communication, coordination, and initiative.
• Compassionate, moral support and physical approach to patient care.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
