About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history, symptoms and maintain patient charts.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatments under supervision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
- Monitor vital signs and overall patient health status.
- Provide bedside care, education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment readiness.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
Required profile
- Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
- Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualifications.
- 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Operation and care of medical equipment.
