Nurse Assistant – 3 months to 5 years experience

About the role

The Nurse Assistant will support patient care in a hospital setting, assisting registered nurses and physicians with clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a nursing graduate with up to five years of experience and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatments safely.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain bedside care, inventory of supplies, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th and 12th.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation, and initiative.
• Ability to provide moral support and physical assistance to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operating and caring for medical equipment.
